AN INTERNATIONAL CSR LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS AND SOCIETY


An international study trip is part of the curriculum of many business school Masters and MBAs. Students want an internationa CSR learning experience during these studies. Especially to see business and society from different perspectives. The Netherlands is a very attractive country for this experience, as it is competitive innovative and it has a strong focus on wellbeing of people as well as sustainability. At TIAS we provide a one-week flexible program with a mix of lectures and company visits to important international companies (for example, KLM / Rabobank / Brainport) based in The Netherlands and operating worldwide. Thus, the insights on business and society issues, the impact and understanding as well as the overall Master / MBA experience of students is enhanced.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

In this highly experiential 5-day program, students will explore the theory and practice of driving business transformation and societal impact. At the end of the program, students are able to:

  1. Understand how strategy can be designed for driving business transformation and societal impact
  2. Rethink business models in order to create shared value for business & society
  3. Reflect on their personal competencies and contributions when it comes to business and society and creating impact

Upon positive completion of the program, the students receive a certificate of participation. The specific learning goals for this module are of equal advancement level as our other courses (NLQF 7 or 8). The content of the program is organized in a module of one week (30 hours), worth 2 ECTS.
